Hi, I’m Kerem Sanus — a photographer, traveler, and explorer currently based in New York City, originally from Turkey.
I began photography as a way to document my travels, but over time it evolved into a deeper pursuit of capturing places, moments, and environments that feel both real and immersive. My perspective is shaped by my background and the way I travel — from exploring ancient sites across Turkey and beyond to overlanding in remote landscapes and wandering through unfamiliar cities.
My photography spans urban environments, natural landscapes, wildlife, and ancient cities, often extending into the night through long-exposure and night sky photography. Whether it’s the shifting light over a mountain range, the quiet presence of a forgotten ruin, or the atmosphere of a city after dark, I aim to capture moments that feel honest and grounded in experience.
I see photography as a form of exploration — a way to observe more closely, understand places more deeply, and preserve the feeling of being there.
Thanks for visiting.
