My interest in ancient cities began when I was around ten years old, after seeing a National Geographic Kids magazine cover featuring Machu Picchu. Traveling to Peru became a dream that I still hope to realize one day.

In 2019, I took a spontaneous five-day trip to the countryside of the Turkish Aegean, where I visited several ancient heritage sites as well as lesser-known, unpreserved ruins of ancient cities. Since then, I have committed myself to visiting ancient sites whenever possible and learning more about ancient history.
